We begin the Rosh Hashanah meal with Kiddish on Wine or Grape Juice.
Then we wash for bread and dip the Round Challah into Honey.
We dip the Apple into Honey but before we eat it we say Yehi Ratzon Shetichadesh Ahlaynu Shanah Tovah Umisukah
Then we proceed with the meal or the rest of the Rosh Hashanah Seder
On the Second Night after Kiddush before washing for bread we eat the new fruit. We don’t say an additional Shehecheyanu on it unless we didn’t do so in candle lighting or when making kiddish.
